Diarthonis
Diarthonis includes a single species in temperate climates of the northern Hemisphere. Diarthonis spadicea is widespread in natural forest communities of southern to central Norway. The genus is lichenized with a trentepohlioid photobiont.

Description
The relevant characters of the genus Diarthonis are provided under its only species, Diarthonis spadicea.
Remarks
Diarthonis has been included in Arthonia until recently. Based on molecular systematic studies, it has been accepted as independent genus by Cannon et al. (2020).
